Along with a spruce top, The Celebrity Electric Mandolin boasts a walnut bridge, and a rosewood fretboard. To get your sound off the stage and out to the crowd, the MCS148 Mandolin uses a thinline pickup and the versatile and warm sounding Ovation OP-24+ preamp.

The OP-24+ preamp features three EQ bands with the ability to shift the mid band to either a 400Hz or 1KHz center frequency. It also features a Pre-Shape circuit that lifts the base and treble and reduces the rumble frequencies below 40Hz.
