Peavey’s integrated design of the Escort 3000 allows for ease of transportation, while its user-friendly controls offer ease of operation, making it the perfect choice for schools, churches, civic organizations and small musical groups. The Escort 3000 portable PA system features dual two-way speakers driven by a five-channel, 300 Watt stereo powered mixer, making it ideal for both vocal and musical applications. The PA system also includes a PVi unidirectional (cardioid pattern) dynamic microphone, two folding speaker stands and all necessary connecting cables. Among many professional features, the mixer includes 60mm faders, a five-band graphic equalizer with FLS (Feedback Locating System) and digital reverb. The carrying case provides storage for all the system componets with ample room for additional microphoness and cables. This clever design incorporates the speakers into the package, allowing the unit to be easily carried or pulled along on its luggage-style wheels. The Peavey Escort 3000 includes two folding speaker stands, one PVi cardioid dynamic microphone with cable, two 25 foot speaker cables and storage compartments for microphones, cables and accessories. The Escort mixer stand is sold separately.

Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable?
The case is a very hard plastic, and everything fits into one piece (the only thing extra I brought for the wedding that Saturday that wasn't included in the case was a wireless lapel mic and 100' extension cord to get to power. It's nice not to be loaded down and have almost everything in one wheeled container.

I'd consider just the ease of use of this Peavey product to be the best feature. Once I wheeled it down to the outdoor stage area, I had it working within 15-20 minutes.

How easy is this product to use? How easy is the product to use with other products? Did it take long for you to learn to use this product? Was the manual helpful? How playable do you consider this product to be?
Even if you don't have any practice with setting up dj/pa equipment, this portable pa system is very easy to set up and use. I received it from UPS on Friday, took it right to the outdoor wedding rehearsal and had it working right away with no problems at all (stupidly, I didn't use the manual which we all should do). The manual is actually very easy to read and follow along with.

How is the tone?
I had many compliments from the guests that were at the outdoor venue to watch the wedding. They said they could hear everything the preacher said through the wireless lapel mic I used loud and clear. I hooked up mics for the singer and piano player as well (I fit those mics and cables into the case) and the sound was beautiful. I couldn't have been happier.
