QUALITY:
i have had it a short time ,however i am impressed.it is one solid made bass.with proper care this bass should last you as long as you are able to play it and then some.

FEATURES:
the only thing i noticed was it is a little weak on the lows.this can be eliminated with the use of a e.q. with the lows up. this is one of the better basses i have tried for the fast action and a.1 clean sound.nice fret board . no bass i have ever tried or owned has match the unique sound of the 1960's rickie, you cannont for the price expect it,this axe can do anything but rate it 4+

EASE OF USE:
i picked it up after looking for a second bass and knew right away it was my choice,it won over basses that $2000.+.could play it to the best of my ability right off. RATE5 A 5

VALUE:
NO ONE LIKES TO PAY MORE BUT LIKE I SAID I PICKED THIS BASS OVER ONE;S THAT AROUND THE $2000. MARK RATE 4

Overall: This thing has a primitave finish. The back of the neck is rough with the open grain. Needs lots of refinement. Frets have sharp edges. There are much better choices. I am sending this one back!

Overall: This is a wicked sounding extremely inexpensive bass. Though there are some minor quality issues, like splinters around the pickup cavities. However, considering the versatility, sound, and features included in a bass at this price point, I'm unbelievably impressed and though Peavey equipment generally sucks, this is a brilliant step in the right direction. Kudos!

Overall: I think this is a great bass for the money. I have a Ibanez SR-800 that cost almost double of what this bass cost, although the Ibanez is active, this bass plays better and faster, I like the finish, especially on the the back of the neck, my hand slides very easily along it. I think this bass plays and feels great, very well balanced, you even get a free hardshell case with it! One thing Peavey, send Warranty papers and info on knob control(not sure whats doing what). Other reviews say about splinters and poor workmanship, mine has none of those, very nice bass.

Overall: very nice bass for the money, i love how the guitar isnt painted and finished instead. It feel more like a guitar than a bass but thats a good thing, its very light weight which is good for jumping around.
