Peavey SP Series enclosures have been a live sound standard for more than three decades and are ideal for all styles music. With a radical new feature update, Peavey has made its much-lauded SP Series even louder, lighter and clearer than ever.
The new SP Series enclosures feature Peavey's patented Black Widow* loudspeakers, rated from 1600 Watts to 2000 Watts peak power, with field-replaceable baskets for quick, easy repair in the unlikely event you'll need to recone a speaker. These enclosures also feature exclusive Quadratic Throat Waveguide technology for dramatically reduced horn distortion and a much clearer sound. Peavey has applied this patented technology with an innovative concept of asymmetry; our new Quadratic Horns aim sound directly at the audience, not over their heads.
A new rugged, nine-ply baltic birch construction utilizing extensive internal bracing produces tighter bass response while reducing weight by an average of 25% to ease load in/load out situations. The new SP Series enclosures also include 1/4" and Neutrik Speakon full-range I/O, plus an exclusive, switchable Speakon for bi-amp (plug and play); RX 22 compression drivers with ferrofluid cooling; built-in stand-mount adapters; and black carpet covering.
