Peavey Tour TNT115 Bass Guitar Combo AmplifierThe Peavey Tour TNT115 Bass Guitar Combo Amplifier is a portable powerhouse! With 600 watts of power going through a 1x15 inch specially designed speaker, the TNT115 bass combo amp will handle all kinds of situations from band practice, to small and medium sized venues. The top loaded, kick back design of the cabinet is a design bridge between the Peavey Tour Series heads and cabs and the ProBass Combo amps. The 1/4 inch input on the Tour TNT115 bass amp has a bright switch and an active/passive switch.
There's a pre gain knob and a contour switch for a pre-shape eq. There is also a crunch switch to add a tube like distortion effect. A 2 band eq is next, with a 7 band graphic, with a defeat switch so you can get virtually any tone you're looking for. Also included on the TNT115 bass amplifier is a one knob compressor, with a defeat switch. An effects loop, footswitch input, master volume and DDT on/off switch completes the front panel of the Tour TNT115. The lightweight class D power drives a ceramic 15 inch speaker and hf tweeter for light weight. If you're looking for a versatile, portable and powerful bass combo amplifier, the Peavey Tour TNT115 is a great choice!

Same great Peavey quality that I remember.
Quality
Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable?
As a pro-rock guitarist, my first pro amp was a new 1974 Peavey Roadmaster 400, 4x12 partitioned cab with the huge stack tube head and running another 2x12 cab, great quality at the time. 100's of gigs and many hours practice sessions over 4 years until the head blew-up after 1,000's hours of use !! Got another head and it lasted another 8 years & 1,000's of hours !! Best amps I ever owned. Now playing bass and I've only had the TNT115 for 2 days, but I believe it will serve me as well as my old Peavey friends did !!
Features
What do you consider to be the best features of this product? What features would you add to this product if you could?
The Equalizer is amazing, very defined control over the 7 most important frequencies, plus the +/- 15 dB Low & High shelving controls allow for a greater range of customizing my sound. Love it !!
Sound
How is its Tone?
Fantastic tone range with the various controls, from deep resonance on up to !!POW!! slap in the head. The "Crunch" option is pretty cool, reminds me a little of the 6L6GC tubes in my old Roadmaster.
Playability and Feel
How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing?
Controls are right on top, easy & visible, as opposed to front controls on a combo amp this short.
Tone
Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin?
Incredible range of tone attainable, from deep rich smooth & scooped - to - top end slap & punch. It seems that however you want it, you got it. The "Tweeter" ON-OFF switch is great, subtle but real responsive for the top end when used. The manual advises not to use it with the "Crunch" feature ON.
Finish
How did the stain or paint job look?
Standard amp covering, high impact steel corners. The side hand-holds and the size of the amp makes it easy to handle for one person, not awkward.
Action
How was the action out of the box?
Not really applicable, but "plug & play", like most amps.
