Peavey ValveKing Half Stack Guitar Amplifier 4x12 and Head

Peavey Valve King Half Stack 4x12 and Head
Peavey ValveKing® amps feature a patented, variable Class A-A/B control called Texture™, which allows sweepable selection between Class A and Class A/B power structures, as well as any combination of the two. With this feature, guitarists can coax virtually any tone from this tweaked-out amplifier. The amp's preamp and power sections use 12AX7 and 6L6GC tubes, respectively.
Additional standard features include two footswitchable channels with independent, three-band EQ and volume, plus a footswitchable gain/volume boost on the lead channel to provide extra volume for solos. ValveKing amps also feature global resonance, presence and reverb controls, a buffered effects loop and dual speaker jacks in parallel (head and 212 only).

Subject:I miss this amp!!!
Quality: Yes. PRetty dependable, I just wish the Price would come down even more.
Sound: The tone is pretty good. I just wish it had a little more bottom end and the clean shannel could be a little more clear.
Reliability: Oh yeah. It's a solid amp.
Overall: I loved it. I want another one.
Playability and Feel: It felt more chunky but with all the things you can do to manipulate the tone, there is a sound for almost everybody.
Tone: Mostly bright and snappy, but that's the way I have my tone so that I don't drown out the bass. The pickups worked very well with this amp. I played a live show with an Epiphone Lp Junior and that amp made it sound freaking awesome.
Finish: It was a very cool looking. I was proud to have one and be able to look at it every day.
Action: Took some gettin gused to but when I got the hang of it, it felt very natural.
Skill Level: Semi-Pro
Do you own this product?: Used to. I had to sell it so I could eat.
