Peavey ValveKing 112 Guitar Combo Amplifier

Peavey ValveKing Amplifiers are All-tube guitar amps that combine boutique features and hot-rodded tones with legendary Peavey reliability.

ValveKing amps feature a patent-pending, variable Class A/B control called Texture™, which allows sweepable selection between Class A and Class A/B power structures, as well as any combination of the two. Now you can coax virtually any tone from one tweaked-out amp. Preamp and power sections use 12AX7 and 6L6GC tubes, and drive specially voiced 12" ValveKing loudspeakers.

Features include 2 footswitchable channels with independent, 3-band EQ and volume, plus a footswitchable gain/volume boost on the lead channel to provide extra volume for solos. ValveKing amps also feature global resonance, presence and reverb controls, and a buffered effects loop.

Peavey ValveKing 112 Features

  • 50 Watts into 16 Ohms
  • Two 6L6GC and three 12AX7 tubes
  • DC-powered preamp tube heaters
  • Two independent footswitchable channels
  • Separate EQ for each channel

  • External speaker capability
  • One 12-inch ValveKing speaker

Subject:Very good amp
Quality: Peavey has made a tank for $450
Reliability: Not one problem in my year and a half having it, after 5 gigs too.
Overall: Love it. Its not a JCM2000, but hey for this money you cant go wrong.
Playability and Feel: Tubes give that presence everyone craves, and this is no exception.
Tone: Everything. seriously, for this price it gives everything. The distortion is great. It's not going to replace a 2 grand amp but you cant complain at all.
Finish: Its the blandest looking amp out there, but seriously....who cares? the sound is important!
Action: amp lol
Skill Level: Intermediate

Overall Ranking:
Features: edgeedgeedgeedgeedge
Sound: edgeedgeedgeedgeedge
Quality: edgeedgeedgeedgeedge
Subject:GREAT PEAVEY PRODUCT!!
Quality: It made it here without the reverb unit needing a re-solder. It seems to be made very well and I know peavey is very dependable through past experience.
Features: The features are great but I would have liked the footswitch to be included for a few more dollars.
Sound: I have a Jackson DK2 and a Fender USA Strat and the cleans with reverb sound great. The lead channel with the Jackson can go from AC/DC to just about Metallica and sounds alot better than the solid state and hybrid amps do. But have a humbucker
Reliability: Only had it a short while.
Overall: So far I love the sound and the product. If you get tired of the sound add some effects, don't buy a modeling amp.
Value: $399. for a 50 watt all tube combo. Can't beat it.
