Pioneer DDJ-T1 DJ Controller for Traktor

The Pioneer DDJ-T1 DJ Controller for Traktor easily connects with a user’s laptop via USB for quick plug-and-play capability with Traktor Pioneer DDJ-T1 Edition DJ Software. For further convenience, the DDJ-T1 controller also comes with a computer dock that allows a laptop’s keyboard to slip directly under the controller, bringing the monitor closer to the DJ, providing fast visuals of song information while mixing. The DDJ-T1 adopts Pioneer’s P-LOCK Fader Cap, designed to prevent the fader caps from slipping.

Plug and Play USB Connectivity with 4-Channel Deck Control
All buttons and knobs have been pre-assigned, so users can quickly connect the controller to their laptop with a USB cable and start their performance without having to adjust any complicated settings. Additionally, the Pioneer DDJ-T1 controller can be powered through the laptop’s USB port.

Included Traktor Pioneer DDJ-T1 Edition DJ Software
Includes Traktor Pioneer DDJ-T1 Edition DJ software. This popular software is loaded with original functionality, including four-channel deck control and a channel fader start function, which makes it easier for DJs to create exact cue starts.

Specially Designed User Interface
The DDJ-T1 controller layout and Traktor Pioneer DDJ-T1 Edition DJ software interface are identical, ensuring ease-of-use and precise control. The DDJ-T1 is modeled after the proven design of the professional Pioneer DJ player and mixer and integrates 115mm jog dials, accurate search functionality to quickly find playback points, a load button for song data and a master synch button for beat matching across four channels.

It is made well and has many great features.

The best feature is that it comes with software that allows you the ability to manage 4 decks at a time. With this controller you can have full control of the features within the software. There is no need for a mouse.

I had difficulty navigating the manual that came with it. However, I was able to find information on line and basically play with things within the software and controller to figure out how to use it

How is its Tone?
The sound is dependent on the speakers you own. However, it features many types of sound outlet ports which is a plus. (1/4 inch & RCA outlets)

This product is well made and will last for a very long time. It is lightweight and portable.

The best features of this product is the capability to control 4 decks, sound effects, adustability,the balanced 1/4 inch TRS outputs and the overall design and layout. I would add full program functionality of Tracktor Pro2.

This product is easy to use after referencing the owners manual. I haven't used with any other products. It only took one or two weeks to fully utilize this product. The manual was very helpful. This product is very playable as it is out of the box.

The tone is ok for home use and small pub use. This is not designed for club use in my opinion.
