The PreSonus BlueTube DP is a two-channel microphone/instrument preamplifier with Dual Path Technology.
The BlueTube DP will replace the award-winning BlueTube by adding enhanced features including a dual signal path with both a solid state preamplifier stage and a tube preamplifier stage. This feature lets you switch between an ultra quiet transparent solid state preamp and a smooth, round, warm tube preamp. The new BlueTube DP also boasts a -6dB better signal to noise ratio and higher input headroom than its predecessor.

Each channel on the BlueTube DP features dual mic/input connectors, balanced XLR and 1/4 inch TRS outputs, 48V phantom power, -20dB pad, polarity inverse, and 80Hz roll-off filter. The BlueTube DP is a perfect front-end preamplifier for microphones and instruments for any digital audio workstation.

Quality: yeah presonus makes qualty stuff thats dependable
Features: its right to the point visual that allows you to see what the levels of gain -drive-and out put are.
Ease of Use: very ,great for begginers who want to expeirence tube sound
Sound: if you have a good mic and audio interface the sound will come out satisfying. you dont need to over do it with the tube drive get a good level going into your interface than adjust the tube and you come out fine. the vocals I did through this always came out good through the mix very clear and full
Reliability: it was reliable till I damaged it while moving from residence to residence .I liked it so much im willing to buy another at some point
Overall: It cool for a project studio thats needs a good mic-preamp

Subject:save for bigger and better pre's
Quality: this is ok for everything that doesnt really matter. (i.e. garage practice, rehearsals) but if reall quality is what you are hoping for do yourself a favor and hold on to your money for something genuinly better.
Features: wire plus gain, phase reverse, phantom power, PAD, and high pass. nothing special.
Ease of Use: easy to use plug it in turn up the gain and there is sound. not great sound but sound none the less.
Sound: not pleasing. colors the sound in a way that makes it grainy not full bodied like i want, adds a bit of fuzz and sharp brittle highs, but not complex warm overtones. im looking into the GoldenAge Pre73 which has stellar reviews on its similarity to the legandary Neve 1073.
Reliability: power supply died in less than a year.
Overall: not worth the money if you have pre's on your A/D converter. i wanted some smooth tube tone instead i just have a brittle preamp that is better suited as a $200 paper weight.
