Tube Amp That Kicks
Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable?
Built like a tank. Have carried it to gigs and rehearsals - no problem.
How has it stood up over time?
So far so good
Your general opinion of this product.
I have three PRS guitars and decided to buy a PRS amplifier. It is the best in it's class (I'm comparing to the Fender Supersonic and Hughes & Kettner Statesman - both of which I have)
Playability and Feel
How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing?
Easy to use (which is a good thing as there were no instructions in the box)
Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin?
Bright on the clean and grungy on the dirty. perfect for blues and classic rock.
How did the stain or paint job look?
How was the action out of the box?
Played well out of the box. Like the Fender and Hughes & Kettner it required some time to get the right tone on the dirty channel.
