Overall Rating
Oye Como WOW!
What is your overall opinion of this product?
This guitar is phenomenal. Right out of the box I was impressed with its looks, set up, and tuning stability. The guitar is effortless to play and I can fly up and down the neck with the greatest of ease. The attention to detail and little appointments that make this guitar unique are tremendous. I've played and owned numerous guitars and this one is at the top of the list.
What is your opinion of the quality of this product? How does it work for different genres of music?
The build and attention to detail are second to none. It has some weight but isn't heavy. It feels like a guitar built to conjure up some sweet tones and it does just that.
Heavy, fast, chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing?
This guitar has a fast neck. It is their pattern neck and for this one, it feels almost like a soft V shape. Very comfortable in my hand. No complaints.
How is the tone? Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick or thin?
The tone for this would be considered dark and smooth. Adjusting the volume and tone will lighten up the tone and doesn't change the overall smooth appeal that this guitar maintains.
How did the stain or paint job look?
This isn't a 10 top but you wouldn't be able to tell based on looking at the guitar. Just an immaculate faded blue finish.
Did you get what you were expecting for the price? How does it compare to similar products in the same price range?
This is exactly what I was expecting for the price. Maybe even more based on the finish and playability.
How was the action out of the box?
The action and playability were perfect.
