Features: These come with a 13ply solid birch cabinet with 16 gauge metal mesh grill that is designed to never get dented in like the mackie's or jbl's. I used to work for a dealer for QSC and have had training on their speakers and amps. It had to take quite a lot of juice before hitting the limiters. Compared to other powered speakers these guys use their proven performance amps in these speakers instead of putting cheap D class amps that get hot and cut out even at a medium level. Ease of Use: PnP Sound: When a product is built this meticulously, words won't describe it. Go hear for yourself. Value: If you're a tech and can't stand incompetence, the money you spend on these is an investment and is priceless when it comes to keeping your show going. Quality: The reason I would imagine these are sooooo heavy, is because of the solid wood that they use. They use solid Birch wood and a quality amp. Everything about these speakers says QUALITY !!! Features: This is the best powered speaker that I have heard. I have done a lot of research on powered speakers, and this is by far the best one. I even spoke to a Tech rep at QSC who said that is money or weight is not an issue, this is the best speaker QSC has to offer. The only thing that would make this speaker even better, would be an EQ on the back such as other powered speakers may have. Ease of Use: This product is easy to use. You plug it up and you play, very simple. That is where the easy part ends. Unless you are a guy who gets mad and turns green, these will be a problem to get up off the floor on a stand. They weigh about 100lbs each. I hit the gym on a daily basis and am in pretty good shape, and I have an issue getting these up. So good luck with that. Sound: Only 1 word PERFECT !!!!!! There is absolutely nothing that could be done to better these speakers. they sound perfect. I have heard other powered speakers and these blow them out of the water. I will only be buying QSC speakers from now on PERIOD !!!!! Value: It is indeed very pricey however, if you can afford to get a pair don't hesitate. They are the clearest sounding speakers and have some kick as well. I got a pair and sent in the rebate as well. That helps a bit, but they are still expensive.
