    Incredible amp
    Product Rating
What is your opinion of this product?
I bought this amp for 2 reasons: 1) I needed a grab n go combo versus lugging around heavy & fragile tube combos or heads and cabinet, 2) I'm starting to play in an old school "real" country music band & needed a clean and versatile amp for medium volumes. I did my research and nailed it! Both channels give a pristine and well balanced clean, but channel 2 allows you to add a modest amount of gain/overdrive. To my taste, adding gain between 11 and 2 o'clock beautifully emulates a classic cranked Fender. Past solid state experience taught me that you can get decent clean tones, but the OD/distortion is fake & cheesy. Quilter has changed that - the ever elusive "in between" slightly overdriven sound on this amp is amazingly warm and real. Accepts pedals perfectly. I currently use a hair of compression, clean boost, mild overdrive & chorus. Never do the effects dominate, rather only enhance the great tone of this amp. Great reverb in subtle settings. Never given a "5" rating before.

    The best amp ever !!!!!
Your general opinion of this product.
This is literally be best amp that I have owned or ever played trough. I have owned or played through Fenders, Vox, Mesa Bogie, Marshall, Carvin and others and this amp has them all beat The tone is incredible and the reverb is very lush sounding. You can dial in a Fender Twin or Deluxe sound on the clean channel or switch to the other channel for a little grit or full on distortion. And with a bad back this incredible amp only weights 30 LBS !!!!!! Thank you Pat Quilter you knocked it out of the park with this amp.
