    Product Description

The Quilter 12 inch Mach 2 combo is the ultimate amp when you need serious power in a small package. With a throatier voice and more presence, the Classic Lead 80 lives up to its name. A sealed enclosure calibrated to deliver a very balanced and beautiful tone, combined with the powerful and up front characteristics of the speaker are perfect for the player who plays lead, rock, blues, or anyone wanting serious power.

Great for electric instruments, the 12 inch combo packs a serious punch for players who love the sound of a 12 inch speaker, and want something powerful enough to handle a full band but portable enough to go anywhere. Combine this with a 12 inch extension cabinet for staggering power that will easily handle outdoor gigs without a PA system. Weighing in at 27 pounds, it is easy to carry and small enough to go anywhere.

This is the amp I have been looking for...

What is your opinion of this product?
After lugging around Fender tube combo amps (Vibrolux, Blues Deluxe reissue) for years I wanter to find a smaller and lighter amp to use on stage. I tried a Blues Jr but it didn't cut it. Following the advice of a friend and after some research I ordered this Micropro 200 - 12 from AMS. After several gigs I will never go back to lugging 40+lbs of tube amp around. The sound, volume, and versatility of this amazing amp are off the charts. The other guys in the band can't believe the sound I get out of this amp. I have purchased a lot of gear online from several vendors and this is the first piece of equipment that has moved me to write a review. Service from AMS was great.

    My new #1
What is your opinion of this product?
I own amps by Mesa, Fender, Marshall, Dr. Z, PRS, Vox, and Orange. I am currently using my Quilter exclusively. I think that is all I need to say about this amp.

The amp I've been looking for for a long time
What is your opinion of this product?
My goal is to get everything loaded in or out in 1 trip BUT to not sacrifice sound quality. This is exactly what I needed. I play jazzy stuff, some pop/rock, some blues... this amp has handled it admirably. Plenty of volume, plenty of EQ control. Does the distortion channel sound just like a (insert whatever amp here)? No. But it sounds great, has several different sounds on tap, and takes pedals well. AND you can easily carry this amp in 1 hand. I've owned many amps, and each was good in its own way, but had drawbacks. Polytones, Roland JC's, Fender princetons, Fender Hot Rod Deluxe, Peavey Classic, Peavey Delta Blues, Roland Cube, Lunchbox ZT.... None were this portable, this loud, and had the tone I needed.
