Quality: Rain makes the most Durable and fastest pieces I have ever come accross. I own this and 2 Rain Recording Computers, the Solstice & the Live book Diablo.
Features: This is made from High Quality Aluminum with keeps it Very Quiet and keeps it from Over heating. It comes with 2 Firewire ports, 1 USB & 1 SATA For easy hook up to many different computers. Available from 250 GB TO 1000 GB. I have the 500GB & I have to say the Transfer is Fast and very simple to use for Audio & Video Files. I would not change a thing.
Ease of Use: This Unit is so easy to use, it Guides you step by step and when you transfer Music or Video files, You can even Click & Drag using you PC, Mac or what ever system you have. You don't even need to use the Manual that's how simple this unit is. The Manual was helpfull in telling me which cables to use for the Hookups. It comes with all the cables, so If you want to use the USB, Firewire, or Sata it comes with it all. You will never have to run to another store last minute for a cable.
Value: I own the 500 GB Unit and the Value is Unbeatable, Yes it costs a little more than your standard external Hard drive but Worth Every Penny. Once you get a Rain unit, you will never use another unit ever again.
