Based on the template of the "E" line designed by Jose III, Amalia Ramirez has created this new model as a limited edition. It will be built for five years (2007-2012), and commemorates the 125th anniversary of the Ramirez guitar making dynasty. The "Rose" mosaic rosette is based off of Jose Ramirez III's rose design dating back to the 1960's. For years, his designs mysteriously disappeared but were rediscovered 40 years later. This rose rosette represents all the designs that had been forgotten over the 125 years of the Jose Ramirez legacy. A new HumiCase Protege hardshell case is included with this guitar.

About the Limited Edition and Artist Guitars
Each guitar in this category tells a story. Whether the guitar was designed to commemorate a milestone in Ramirez Guitars' rich history or whether it was to celebrate an accomplished musician, the Artist and Limited Edition guitars are all handmade with only the most precious cuts of woods. Built by a few expert luthiers in the small artisan Ramirez workshop, each guitar is a truly unique instrument, many of them only available for a limited time.

Tone
Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin?
For me, it is all about tone. This guitar sounds fantastic and has very good volume. I don't know if the cedar top sounds better, but I am very happy with this guitar.
Finish
How did the stain or paint job look?
A very beautiful guitar!
Action
How was the action out of the box?
Not an expert player, but the action seems very good.

This is a very fine guitar. The rosewood on the sides and back is stunning. The "rose" inlays are a nice touch.

Plays better the older it gets.

This is a great guitar for the price, plays along side of $6,000.00 guitars all day long. It is a custom Ramirez, what more can you say.

This guitar plays very well, smooth low (for a classical) string action. Has a "quality" feel to it.

Bell like high notes, and very good deep bass notes that resonate well.

Excellent finish and trim work.
