Very well rounded amp
Quality
Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable?
I bought a b stock that came in with a broken reverb tank and a bright switch that does nothing. However it was a b stock and given that the amp sounds great without reverb or a bright switch I really didn't care too much. I contacted customer service and they referred me to Randall. I didn't bother as I had received a good deal and a new accutronics tank is only like twenty dollars. That aside the build was surprisingly sturdy and looks pretty sharp as well.
Reliability
How has it stood up over time?
I've only had this amp for about 3 weeks but so far there hasn't been any anomalies in performance aside from the way it came in.
Overall
Your general opinion of this product.
I'm pretty pleased given I bought this amp as more of a backup than a main amp. However given the sound and footswitchable loop I'll likely try this as a main amp to see if I prefer it to my other amps.
Playability and Feel
How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing?
It responds well to pick attack and volume rolls.
Tone
Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin?
I put this amp through a Genz Benz gflex 2x12 cab and it sounds awesome for what I play (hard rock/metal). The clean channel is warm but sharp enough to cut through without sounding brittle or tinny. The clean headroom even with the gain on the clean channel almost maxed out is great. The overdrive channel is awesome! For rhythm or leads this channel gets the sound I want. Keep in mind this isn't 5150 type saturation. This overdrive can be at 10 and still not be overdone. For me it's perfect given I have a pretty hard pick attack and I typically keep the gain at about half on my 6505 and Carvin v3 so I don't muddy the signal. Am I bummed there wasn't more gain on tap? Yes and no but the bottom line is it works for me very well.
Finish
How did the stain or paint job look?
This was fine as I said before it looks pretty nice.

Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable?
It seems very well built - Heavy, looks good, It is not as wide as a lot of other standard head sizes. still feels nice and heavy and sturdy. The knobs are recessed behind the outer frame of the head which should definitely protect the knobs and hopefully your settings. Foot switch feels nice and heavy as well -

How has it stood up over time?
I've only had this for a little over a month - BUT, All of my shows have been on the road and it works great every time. I to travel with it in a road case...
Overall
Your general opinion of this product.
Overall I really like the amp - I don't believe there is enough pure gain fir the heaviest of heavy metal, but certainly enough pure gain for some good metal / rock.. And definitely enough stage volume unless you are on an arena tour.

The distortion channel is good, decent amount of gain. Warmth, not brittle at all. I am surprised at 50W tube that it is not as loud as I hoped. I've played a few decent sized venues though and it cuts through and does a great job. Bright side of this is that you can crank it up a bit and push it... The clean channel leaves a little to be desired. just kind of bright and tinny. I am experimenting with EQs and I believe an EQ oughta take care of the issue. The Reverb is weak -
