Good amp - Great for the price
Quality
Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable?
It seems very well built - Heavy, looks good, It is not as wide as a lot of other standard head sizes. still feels nice and heavy and sturdy. The knobs are recessed behind the outer frame of the head which should definitely protect the knobs and hopefully your settings. Foot switch feels nice and heavy as well -

Reliability
How has it stood up over time?
I've only had this for a little over a month - BUT, All of my shows have been on the road and it works great every time. I to travel with it in a road case...

Overall
Your general opinion of this product.
Overall I really like the amp - I don't believe there is enough pure gain fir the heaviest of heavy metal, but certainly enough pure gain for some good metal / rock.. And definitely enough stage volume unless you are on an arena tour.

How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing?

Tone
Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin?
| The distortion channel is good, decent amount of gain. Warmth, not brittle at all. I am surprised at 50W tube that it is not as loud as I hoped. I've played a few decent sized venues though and it cuts through and does a great job. Bright side of this is that you can crank it up a bit and push it...
The clean channel leaves a little to be desired. just kind of bright and tinny. I am experimenting with EQs and I believe an EQ oughta take care of the issue.
The Reverb is weak - |
