| Outstanding! |
| Quality |
| Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? |
| Great quality! Stitching and piping are very durable, plush lining with dense padding helps to keep the guitar safe and secure. Mine has many miles on it, and I've never had a guitar sustain damage in it. |
|
| Reliability |
| How has it stood up over time? |
| This one has survived several incidents which would damage a typical case (and maybe even the guitar). Over time the top has bowed mildly (my son has used it as a stage on more than one occasion) but this doesn't seem to affect it, and it remains my favorite case. The accessory compartment is not attached to the back, so small items can slide out, and there is no latch...so use a ziplock bag or a small box to hold picks and the like to avoid having lose items inside your case! |
|
| Overall |
| Your general opinion of this product. |
| I love it! It's light, yet strong, and I've grown to trust it to keep my guitar safe. |
|
| Playability and Feel |
| How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? |
| Nicely balanced and quite light! I've used this case for a couple of "Strat" style guitars, as well as SG, and Les Paul style solid bodies. The off-set handle makes for even load distribution for all of them. |
|
| Tone |
| Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? |
| N/A |
|
| Finish |
| How did the stain or paint job look? |
| Typical finish, quite durable. Resists scuffs, and will last quite well given minimal attention and care. The chromed corners and "feet" buttons (bottom and back) are securely riveted. |
|
| Action |
| How was the action out of the box? |
| The 4 latches, 3 hinges and solid plastic handle all work well. The handle joints rattle, but they are quite secure. |
