Rickenbacker 360 Electric Guitar with Case

The Rickenbacker 360 Electric Guitar broke all the rules of traditional styling when it appeared amid the 'British' sound of the 1960's.
Subtly updated through the years, this Deluxe hollow body with its special contour around the entire body perimeter, is still perhaps the most comfortable guitar of all. The bound body and Rosewood fingerboard, inlayed with triangular pearloid markers, provide an exceptionally attractive appearance. Stereo output is standard.

Handmade in America - three words that proudly embody Rickenbacker's unchanging commitment to quality and excellence. A commitment that is as strong today as it was in the Company's beginnings, over sixty five years ago. The time honored skills of craftsmanship and handwork are as prevalent in the Rickenbacker factory as the lack of modern conveyer belt assembly lines. While utilizing some of the most modern tools and equipment available, Rickenbacker has been selective in employing technology to be sure that improved quality is the only reason for not performing the operation in a traditional fashion. In fact, to the greatest extent, the most skillful and demanding work is still done entirely by hand.

Despite the somewhat European sounding name, every instrument bearing the Rickenbacker name was produced in Rickenbacker's own factory in California, U.S.A.

Subject:THE BEST SO FAR
Quality: Really well made, no complaints on that.
Sound: Amazing. Crisp, clear, well-balanced. The highs never hurt your ears even if you crank up the volume knob.
Reliability: I got mine in Feb. 2008 and so far it has never let me down.
Overall: Outstanding finish, perfect body, the best action I got from a guitar so far, and the tone... Well, plug it to a VOX amplifier and you will know what I mean.
Playability and Feel: Easy to play. The neck adjusts perfectly to my hand. And it is very ligth, nothing like a Gibson.... I had one of the tone knobs modified (the smal one) and turn it into a master volume control for both pickups. It helped me a lot.
Tone: As said before, clean, crisp, rich, with that high tone typical from the 60's, but no matter how loud you play the highs never hurt the ears.
Finish: Look good, but I noticed a few bubbles on the finish of the neck, something that I really didn't expect to find.
Action: Took it out of the box and went to a gig... no need to make big adjustments, just minor touches to adapt the bridge hight to my style.
Skill Level: Semi-Pro
