Rickenbacker 360/12 12-String Electric Guitar with Case

The world's most popular twelve string electric guitar, the Rickenbacker 360/12, boasts all of the deluxe features of its Model 360 cousin.
A standard for recording for more than thirty years, its haunting, melodic chorus has continued to benefit from evolution. The slimmed and recontoured neck now makes model 360/12 easier to play than ever.

Handmade in America - three words that proudly embody Rickenbacker's unchanging commitment to quality and excellence. A commitment that is as strong today as it was in the Company's beginnings, over sixty five years ago. Indeed, little has changed in the production of Rickenbacker guitars and basses. The time honored skills of craftsmanship and handwork are as prevalent in the Rickenbacker factory as the lack of modern conveyer belt assembly lines. While utilizing some of the most modern tools and equipment available, Rickenbacker has been selective in employing technology to be sure that improved quality is the only reason for not performing the operation in a traditional fashion. In fact, to the greatest extent, the most skillful and demanding work is still done entirely by hand.

Despite the somewhat European sounding name, every instrument bearing the Rickenbacker name was produced in Rickenbacker's own factory in California, U.S.A.

Subject:The only real American guitar left!
Quality: I say that there are no flaws in any Ricky i've ever had in the past. Why now..Best craftsmanship in the bizz! Dependablity: I buy Rics because they have never broken in any of my onslaughts of battle onstage unless i was Pete T. Their maple is the hardest with a flawless finish, (just like i will when i open the packaging)Ha ha!
Reliability: Perfect! Keep your string gauges in harmony with your personal setup and keep it in an environment that is comfortable with humans. ie. you don't sleep in the trunk of your car all week!etc. Dont bake it in direct sunlight like the shops do! Dont shower with it; alhtough tempting..Excess moisture and extreme temperature fluctuations;(Rics are not fond of) the neck WILL shrink!
Overall: Ric is the only 12er any one should ever use by tradition except the Zep guitarists. You guys got the 1275 Gibsons! This guitar has the true 12er tone that no one can emulate. Want that true original sound, play the real deal period.
Playability and Feel: 360s balance perfectly, Did'nt notice anything much heavier than a usual Strat or 335. Necks are clubby like they should be. Controll layout has not changed in 40 somthing years with this model. But i hate smacking my hand on the controlls and loosing the sweet spot like a strat or this recent spat of rehashes of the classics everyone is putting out now!
Tone: The high gains are'nt as high as described by modern sales descriptions but mellow and smooth on the neck setting: Bright and Chimey in the bridge. Lots of tone clusters and range in the middle setting if you blend it just right.
Finish: Immaculate!!!!!
Action: Gettin' it on Friday. Subject to an inspection after i slather a set of Pyramid flats on it! Worth the 38 bucks! You'll see!
Skill Level: Semi-Pro
