The Rollz HE18 Buzz Off is a two channel audio hum and buzz remover. Everyone knows how annoying it is to have 60 cycle hum in your sound. Now you can eliminate virtually all ground hum and buzz by simply inserting the HE18 into the audio path. The HE18 is passive (needs no power), and features dual RCA I/O, two balanced 1/4" TRS, and two unbalanced 1/4" connectors. Plus, the HE18 will convert an unbalanced signal into a balanced signal, and vice-versa. This greatly improves overall noise performance.

Does not affect the audio signal’s frequency response! The Rolls HE18 uses dual isolating transformers to eliminate the ground loop, not filters.

So you just hooked up your computer, CD Player, Digital Multitrack Recorder, iPod, or MP3 player to your sound system or studio monitors, and now you have an audible hum running through your normally squeaky clean system. And it won’t go away. No problem. Just run your audio source, stereo or mono, into the Rolls "Buzz Off" and eliminate the hum by converting the unbalanced, noisy signal to a studio quiet balanced signal (even converts balanced signals to unbalanced).

The Buzz Off will allow you to connect to balanced inputs on your powered monitors or amps and recapture up to 6dB of gain relative to using an unbalanced signal.
