| The quality to price ratio is almost unbeatable. It's a solid state amp and is made of metal, so it could take a beating. Definitely reliable. | | Features:
| Again, for the $$$ you spend, you get what you pay for and then some. You have FOUR types of lead, which can give you anything from dirty blues, raucous van halen, screaming metal. At the turn of a couple knobs. I wish it wouldhave reverb, but then it would be underpriced. | | Sound:
| The clean tone is really nice, and for a sold state amp, it's not that far away from shining tube tone. The lead channel is pretty cool: overdrive; similar to tube tone, and my favorite of them all (remember, you could also control the amount of overdrive with the gain knob, so on 4, it sounds very smoothe, and the gain cranked, it sounds like an overdriven stack with some fuzz); the distortion channel ( also cool for dirty rythm); metal (really thick, raucous); metal stack (really, really fat tone that sounds very thick and distorted- metal heads, look here!). So versatile. | | Reliability:
| I have had it for a few months, and it seems like i just got it yesterday. | | Overall:
| I play with a squier, and i play the blues, and this really helps me achieve the tone that i like. Here's one of my fav. settings: bass, mid, treble all the way up, on the lead channel with the knob on overdrive and the gain between '1' and '3' o'clock. Power squeezer off, volume on 2 (for small room) and it can go way louder for larger rooms/venues. This is a great amp, and i cannot say enough good things about it. SO remember, you get what you pay for, and in this case, you get more than that. | | Value:
| Absolutely wonderful, i am happy that i chose this over the marshall mg. Easy on the wallet too. |
