Roland CUBE 60 Modeling Guitar Combo Amplifier

The Roland CUBE 60 brings Roland’s acclaimed CUBE amplifier line to new levels and larger venues. The CUBE-60 is wickedly powerful for its size — the most powerful and versatile CUBE you’ve ever heard, thanks to the newly developed 12 inch speaker, specially tuned amplifier, nine potent COSM amp models, pro digital effects, and versatile outputs.

Included in the CUBE-60’s COSM Amp lineup are nine models — JC Clean, Brit Combo, R-Fier, and more, all of which faithfully reproduce the inspired nuances and characteristics of popular classic and modern amps, down to the preamp and circuits, speaker and outputs. The new velocity-sensitive Dyna Amp model enables smooth and expressive tone transitions based on picking dynamics — pick softly for a transparent, clean sound, for example, then unleash a hi-gain, overdriven tone monster by picking more aggressively.

Six of Roland’s respected world-class effects are built into the CUBE-60: chorus, flanger, phaser, tremolo, an independent delay/reverb processor, and a separate 4-band EQ. There’s a newly equipped Bright switch (for JC Clean) and a Presence knob, and three footswitch inputs for switching channels and turning effects on/off.

The CUBE-60 offers a variety of output options for recording and live performance, including Recording Out/Phones, Line out, and Ext Speaker out. Additionally, the Tuner out jack makes it easy to connect an outboard tuner, such as BOSS’s popular TU-Series.

The Roland Cube 60 brings the acclaimed Cube amplifier line to new levels and larger venues. The Cube 60 is wickedly powerful for its size - the most powerful and versatile Roland Cube you’ve ever heard, thanks to the newly developed 12 inch speaker, specially tuned amplifier, nine potent COSM amp models, pro digital effects, and versatile outputs.

Bigger and Better
The Cube 60 has more power, punch and performance features than the competition, with a newly developed custom speaker and specially tuned power amplifier. Its compact and lightweight design makes it easy to transport from rehearsal to gig, while its powerful 60-watt output and built in COSM effects and amp models ensures your performance won’t go unnoticed—or unheard!

A Roomful of Amps—All in One
The Cube-60 comes with nine onboard COSM Amp models, including JC, British Combo and R-Fier. COSM modeling faithfully provides every inspired nuance and characteristic of a variety of classic and modern amps, down to the preamp and circuits, speaker and outputs. Roland’s new Dyna Amp amp type lets you create unique tone transitions based on picking dynamics. You can get a transparent clean output sound by picking softly, or a powerful hi-gain amp sound by picking more aggressively. Dyna Amp’s distortion can create cool tonal transitions based on the intensity of your performance.

Tweak Your Tone
There are plenty of features onboard the Cube-60 to help you sculpt your sound, such as the versatile effects, EQ, and a newly equipped Bright switch and Presence knob. Six of Roland’s world-class effects are built in, including Chorus, Flanger, Phaser, Tremolo and an independent Delay/Reverb processor. Additionally, there are footswitch inputs for switching channels and turning delay/reverb and effects On/Off.

Versatile Outputs Fit Any Playing Environment
In addition to the Control feature, the Cube-60 is equipped with a wide range of output options for recording or live performance. There are separate output jacks for Recording/Phones Out, Line Out and Ext Speaker Out. Additionally, the Tuner Out jack makes it easy to connect an outboard tuner such as Roland’s TU-Series.

It has sounds to cover a lot of different music with. Who cares if it does not sound exactly like a TUBE amp, it sounds very good, on it's own. It's light and no tube hassles, it has country, jazz, funk and rock tones in one little 60 watt cube with effects.

Rock and some softer stuff, too.

30+ years of playing guitar

Roland makes top quality products. Everything I have ever purchased by this manufacturer is super reliable! I have a Roland 60 watt acoustic amp, Boss pedalboard, Gr-30 Synth, TR-505 drum machine and have owned many other Roland products. Their tech support is among the best in the business.

FEATURES:
It has a nice selection of amp models and the right effects for a working musician. It's very light weight and easy to load into any vehicle. Great for Practice, jams sessions, club gigs or even concert settings. It has a direct out to send to the board for big venues and plenty of power for smaller gigs.

EASE OF USE:
As modeling amps go this is by far the easiest to use. I have owned many and this one is a no-brainer. Just manually dial in whatever you want whenever you want it or us the footswitch system to select on the fly.

VALUE:
I don't think you will find any amp is this price range that will be as user f

This amp is exactly what I was looking for......until it fried itself after 3 months. Now it's been in the shop for two months. I am a giging musician, so I am very dissapointed in Roland's made in China amps. And to still be waiting on parts after 2 months is unacceptable. It was a great little amp for just a sort while.
