The JUNO-Di was born to travel. It’s strong yet amazingly lightweight (only 5.2kg) making it easy to lift and carry. The battery compatibility lets you play for up to five hours without plugging in (uses Ni-MH AA-size rechargeable batteries). When used in conjunction with a battery-powered amp such as Roland’s famous CUBE Street or MOBILE CUBE, the JUNO-Di can be played and heard anywhere. A battery-life indicator on the front panel ensures that you won’t lose power unexpectedly.

Sing Along
More than meets the eye, the JUNO-Di lets you plug a microphone into its external input and process your voice through the built-in vocoder. A dedicated reverb is assigned to the input, so you can add lush ambience to your voice without taking away from the main onboard effects. Sing along with your performances and transform your voice in colorful and creative ways, from silky smooth to sci-fi robotic.

Quality
Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable?
This keyboard is light and is great for portability. However, I taped mine down from the bottom when I use it on my Apex stand. It's so lite, that I didn't want it moving around.
Features
What do you consider to be the best features of this product? What features would you add to this product if you could?
The best features to me are the MP3 playback through a from a jump drive. I load songs (MP3's) that I need to rehearse on a jump drive, insert it into the drive port on the Di, and can play along with the music I need to learn. And it has a level control for the source music so you can mix it with your live playing. Very convenient!
Ease of Use
How easy is this product to use? How easy is the product to use with other products? Did it take long for you to learn to use this product? Was the manual helpful? How playable do you consider this product to be?
This keyboard is very easy to use right out of the box. It's ready to GIG!
Sound
How is the tone?
For a "utility" synth, which was what I was looking for, the Di works well. A good source of acoustic pianos as well as EP's. Strings are good and all can be layered for "Phatness"...still tinkering with the organ patches. Having the ability to "shape" each sound in real time, then save your work to a memory bank is way cool.
General
Your general opinion of this product.
For the price point, this board rocks, and it's a Roland! I'm seriously thinking of upgrading to the Fanthom when it's time fro another pro model
Value
Was this item an overall good value?
I would buy 2 if I needed too!
