Roland KC150 Keyboard AmplifierNow with Subwoofer Output!
The newest member of Roland's KC-Series of amplifiers, the KC-150 maintains Roland's design concepts and superb sound quality. The subwoofer output connects to the new Roland KCW-1 Powered Subwoofer (available separately) for some serious low end. The KC-150 provides 65-watt output, a 12 inch woofer, a tweeter, 4 input channels, an XLR microphone input, an Aux input (RCA), 2-band EQ, and an ultra-compact lightweight design. The affordable price makes the KC-150 ideal for small-stage performances and for on-stage monitoring.
Features
- Affordable 4-channel keyboard amplifier with 60-watt/12 inch speaker and piezo tweeter
- Includes stereo Auxiliary input (RCA) and XLR Microphone input
- 2-band EQ and Subwoofer output compatible with new KCW-1
- Headphones output; can be mounted on speaker stands
When choosing a keyboard amplifier, make sure it measures up to this:
Up to 4-Channel Mixing
All KC amplifiers feature a flexible mixing section
designed with the performing musician in mind. Roland's
flagship models feature up to four stereo inputs, and all
KC amps include a Microphone input and stereo Auxiliary
input for connecting CD players.
Stereo Link Capabilities
The KC-350 and KC-550 include Roland’s Stereo Link
feature for chaining two amplifiers. Using a single cable,
you can connect two KC amps for true stereo sound
while controlling them both from the amp nearest you on
stage.
Subwoofer-Ready
Want more low end? Simply add an optional subwoofer
like Roland’s new KCW-1. Connections are easy, thanks
to the Subwoofer output found on all new KC amps. Now
even the most affordable models can sound huge!
Made for the Road
KC amps are built for life on the road. All models have
built-in handles for easier transportation (the KC-550 also
includes casters) and a rugged design with heavy-duty
carpeting, protective edges and an all-metal grille.

QUALITY: This amp is built like a tank. Knob location, grill and even the cord-wrap all are features that are meant to be used on the road.
FEATURES: Features are simple, EQ is a simple pair of "high" and "low" knobs, but that's fine as I can control that better from my keyboard or guitar processor anyway. You could say it lacks features, but that also means less to go wrong during a gig.
EASE OF USE: Very easy to use, just plug in and play.
VALUE: Wouldn't want to pay more, but was willing to pay what I did based on Roland's solid reputation for amps.
SOUND: Sound is great, really loud for such a small amp, very little hiss. |
