I don't foresee any problems with the upgrade in regards of the manufacturing with the K-RD700GX1 kit, pretty much bulletproof. Features: I'd say the best feature of this upgrade is the incredible changing nuances that occur between the "strings" as they are decaying. Roland also paid a lot of attention to the treble end of the keyboard. Ease of Use: The kit is very easy to install, took 10 minutes tops. The owners manual is easy to follow and understand. Accessing new sounds is very easy also, just "inc" up from the last factory piano sound. Sound: Pretty amazing to say the least. Really adds to the palate of the keyboard and opens up a lot more options to the player when trying to get that "perfect" piano sound for a song. Action: Seamless integration into the GX, but with even more responsiveness and dynamics. You really feel your musical soul pouring out of your keyboard with this upgrade, nicely done Roland!
