Features: The best feature is the variety of sounds that fit a wide range of musical styles and genres. The beats and grooves patches are awesome. The first thing I did was cycle through all the patches to check them out. Many of them, particularly the beats and groove patches, sound like something from a major motion picture; makes you want to score a film. Ease of Use: Very easy to use and navigate through patches. I haven't gotten around to creating my own patches yet. Sound: The quality of the patches are very good for my taste. I like that Roland sounds are typically less bright. For me, that adds to the realism of the instrument. Action: It's a ROM, not a keyboard, so there's no "action" to report. Very easy to install; less than 10 minutes. It loaded perfectly as expected. Value: I think it's overpriced, especially considering that the SRX series sounds are 10 years old now. Good thing is, the patches in this ROM are not "time sensitive" like other synth sounds.
