Samson SX1800 SX High Power Servo Amplifier The Samson SX-1800 power amp produces 1800 Watts of power from a class AB amplifier design. The SX-1800 lets you run a system at a blistering 600 Watts per side in stereo mode with out breaking a sweat, thanks to the internal amplifier design and variable-speed fan cooling.

QUALITY:
The sx1800 is a pretty heavy amp,the sound quality is excellent!! I hope the amp last 10 years or more!!
FEATURES:
Pretty basic features, easy setup, the blue light display is a cool feature!! Simple to use!!
EASE OF USE:
Extremely, easy to use!!Quick set up!!
VALUE:
A tremendous value for the power, reliability and sound that you get!!
SOUND:

QUALITY:
This amp was built with care and has durability written all over it. The worst feature is the weight, but it's a POWER AMP! I want to get 8-10 years out of this... We'll see.
FEATURES:
Due to it's simplicity, features are pretty limited. All connections are solid, the X-flow air design makes overheating dang near non-existant.
EASE OF USE:
Press power... Turn up volume.... Ok now you have successfully used the SX1800!
VALUE:
Pound for pound, doller for doller the best deal in it's class. Assuming it meets your impedance standards.
SOUND:
Very clean and uncolored, just the way it should be. Let the effects doctor your music not the amp. | |

QUALITY:
I bought this one as a B stock. Noticed a rattle inside as I unpacked it. Opened it up to find a
screw flying around inside. Just a quick look and I found where to put it. I have 2 SX1200's
and thought I would save a $100 by buying an SX1800 for the same price. No complaints,
this is a great power source. Be alert. but B stock is okay.
FEATURES:
Turn it on and you are done. Not any more features than that. Actually that's very good.
EASE OF USE:
Ditto. Turn the level knobs up.
VALUE:
Excellent bang for the buck. I've had Crown(unhappy), QSC(real good), Ross(Real good)
Will buy another SX 1800. Probably will be B stock again.

QUALITY:
Well put together. Compact and somewhat heavy which is a good thing for amps with linear power supplies...bigger transformers mean more headroom. Quiet fans.
FEATURES:
Speakon connectors for the outputs and balanced inputs. Easily accessable fan filters. Cool blue LED indicators for power on.
EASE OF USE:

VALUE:
I believe Samson is the finest amp you can buy for the money if you appreciate absolutely clean and dependable power.
SOUND:
No noise...no distortion...lots of power. I've used Crown (crap) QSC (excellent) Carvin (excellent) Peavey (good) but for the money it must be Samson. |
