| Quality:
| I've had this beast only a couple of days & have played it almost nonstop. It seems to be very well made I mybe unfairly giving it a 4 but it's kind of early in the game-how'bout 4 & a half stars? |
| Reliability:
| Time will tell but I'll bet it'll hold it's own to my Carvins[which says alot],SG,esp's fenders! |
| Overall:
| I'm very glad I finally ordered this guitar! I read the reviews for about a year, maybe read one out of 400 or so from different music stores.Heck you see more bad reviews with say a $5ooo Les Paul! Dist, cleans shine.I'm still living on peanut butter sanwhiches & ramen cause I bought it but guess what- WORTH IT! My neighbors would probably hate me if they lived any closer with my paint-peeling shredding. All the good reviews are right-this axe is a great deal for the $ & will bring your skill to another level no doubt. It's also visual candy which don't hurt. |
| Playability and Feel:
| This axe is very light which is great for live stuff obviously. The neck has an amzing feel-not like a yardstick on I banez necks [my rg 570 cracked up near the headstock] controls easily accesible.I don't know why Schecter put 10's instead of 9's on it-makes bending a bit harder to bend but not like I can't change strings sometime. |
| Tone:
| Awsome! I still like passive pickups but with this bad boy plugged into a Metal zone-you'll be king of the mountain! [or queen]cool versitility w coil taps.Sparkling cleans. |
| Finish:
| Gorgeous finish & withstood the subzero temps when I ordered it.Hats off to modern durable materials!Had to get the black cherry for sure. |
| Action:
| Great action! I just had to give a minor tune up.It was packaged very well I must say-almost better the in the case |

| Quality:

| Sound:
| Tone possibilities could be infinite. |
| Reliability:
| Not sure about reliability, just purchased. |
| Overall:
| I've spent years looking at catalogs and drooling in guitar stores and in the end, for the money, I don't think that I could have made a better decision. The C1 FR Hellraiser is a lot of guitar, period. |
| Playability and Feel:
| The neck feels like my Gibson Explorer. It is not a thin neck. The overall feel is a bit cramped but I think that I'll get used to it. I've been playing Explorers for 20 years. |
| Tone:
| The tone is anything you want it to be...lots of options. |
| Finish:
| The finish is stunning. Almost too nice to touch. I scratched it in the first 30 minutes with my right hand pinky nail. |
| Action:
| The guitar was set up correctly for 10's, unfortunatley I play 9's. |

| Subject: | A Jewel Encrusted Flame Thrower |
| Quality:
| Extremely well made, as are all Schecters. Top notch hardware. |
| Reliability:
| Keep a backup handy just 'cause if a string breaks on a Floyd Rose you'll be hors de combat for at least five minutes changing the string. Hope your drummer likes to solo! |
| Overall:
| Great guitar for all styles of music, but one of the best for metal. |
| Playability and Feel:
| Very playable. Floyd Rose is solid and stays in tune. For those who have issues because of lack of experience with floating trems go here:http://www.floydrose.com/instructions.html. The neck should feel very comfortable for those used to a Gibson/Epiphone |
| Tone:
| More than just a beautiful metal machine. The tapable EMG's give a great pallet of tonal options. Very high output on the EMG's, but very controllable with the volume pots (remember those?). From Slayer to Metallica to Ratt, ACDC and even blues (yikes!). |
| Finish:
| The maple top with Black Cherry finish are gorgeous and the Abalone binding and Gothic Cross inlays make it look like it should cost about 3 g's. |
| Action:
| Action was a little high for me on arrival, but I set up all of my guitars anyway, so no big deal here. |
