Schecter C1 Plus Electric GuitarSchecter doesn't just build the hottest 7-strings you can get your hands--they build some solid 6-strings, too and the C1 Plus is a prime example. Check out the carved top, it's flame maple and the neck isn't a bolt on, it's set-in. Check out the cool inlays, they're Schecter's Vector design. In fact, Schecter's careful attention to detail makes them some of the best values we've seen. Other features include a mahogany body, 24 extra jumbo frets, body and neck binding, a 3-piece Mahogany neck with a rosewood fingerboard, 24 3/4-inch scale length, Duncan humbuckers, chrome hardware including high quality Grover tuners and a Tune-o-matic bridge.

Where are Schecter guitars and basses made?
Diamond Series guitars and basses are manufactured in South Korea, and 100% set up in the USA, in Schecter's Burbank, CA facility.
What brand & gauge strings are used on the Diamond Series?
All Diamond Series 6-Strings come factory strung with GHS Nickel Wounds. (10/13/17/26/36/46). Schecter Basses also use GHS Nickel strings (.45/.65/.85/.105) 5-String Basses add a .125 for the low 'B'. Schecter 7-String guitars electrics use a .056 as the low 'B'.

| SCHECTER GUITARS are made SOLID,Workmanship is IMPECCABLE,Inlays,Bindings,etc are FLAWLESS-(this is NOT only speaking for this particular Schecter,I have 3 others also!!)- I have YET to have to take one of my Schecters apart,matter of fact,I've NEVER Even had ANY of the Plastic Tone Pot "Access Covers" Off ONCE!! THESE ARE BUILT TO LAST,SOUND,PLAY,AND LOOK AWESOME THE WHOLE TIME!! | | Sound:

When playing clean,either neck or bridge,Tone is WARM,articulate,not THIN,Cold sounding. Where this guitar SHINES in My opinion,PLAYED THROUGH A HIGH GAIN AMP, THESE PICK-UPS SCREAM!! Leads are CLEAR,Defined,Power Chords,open,and bar chords are WELL DEFINED,Not one big heap of Muddled ,Raspy Ear Numbing NOISE,but SMOOTH,WARM,Crunch for Ryth,Singlr note leads,HARMONIC HEAVEN,and SUSTAIN FOR DAYS!! I was Apprehensive about buying this guitar JUST BECAUSE it had the "DUNCAN DESIGNED 'BUCKERS",THAT would have been a MISTAKE!! I'd put these Right Up There with REGULAR SEYMOURS,having owned SEVERAL GUITARS with JB,CUSTOM,"CUSTOM,CUSTOM",Pearly Gates,etc,The C-1 Pick-Ups Sound JUST AS GOOD as Most,and BETTER than Some of the "REAL DUNCANS" !!! | I've owned other Schecter guitars in the past,and they Are BUILT to Last!I've NEVER had any issues to speak of at all. Some guitars I've had for over TEN YEARS. Just Wipe It Down after Everytime you play it,Polish the finish,and keep the fretboard cleaned and oiled,SCHECTERS Should last you a LIFETIME and LONGER! | | Overall:

Cleaned up,it can be Warm,smooth,a little Overdrive and reverb,pull the coil splitter,you,ve got ya some Telecaster style 'TWANG,But,turn up the Pre/post vol and Gain knobs on your amp,....SHE SMOKES!! | This seems to be a very well made guitar. In my opinion it's every bit as good as guitars costing two to three times as much. Mine IS slightly different from the one pictured, mine doesn't say "Diamond Series" in bold print across the headstock, although it is of that series. I can only assume that the difference stops there. | | Sound:
