Very nice instrument, Great First Time 8 String!
Quality
Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable?
The mahogany body and quilted top are beautiful.
Reliability
How has it stood up over time?
So far so good, very well built!
Overall
Your general opinion of this product.
Very nice for an 8 string, you can go with a lower priced option but you won't get the same level of beauty as this axe.
Playability and Feel
How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing?
The neck took a bit of getting used to I like very light / bare wood feel / finish on the neck especially for a bolt on. That can easily be remedied by giving it a light buff with 800 grit paper.
Tone
Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin?
Bright pickups, I prefer a mellow
Finish
How did the stain or paint job look?
Finish is top notch.
Action
How was the action out of the box?
Action was in need of some tweaking to get it where I wanted it but it is great now.

Very well made instrument. Solid and very dependable.
Reliability
How has it stood up over time?
I've had it for a year and it still looks brand new.

Your general opinion of this product.
This was an impulse purchase. When I received the guitar I was glad I ordered it. It's well built overall and the EMGs scream through my Marshall JCM800.
Playability and Feel
How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing?
The feel is awesome. The neck has perfect dimensions. People say it feels weird going from a 6 to an 8 but to me it was no problem and I have average sized hands, it felt stranger going back to a 6 which felt like a mini guitar. The switch and knobs are all in the right place and the body is bigger than a 6 but you get used to it in no time.
Tone
Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin?
Screaming tone. This thing rips through my Marshall JCM800. The tone is tight and heavy.
Finish
How did the stain or paint job look?
Beautiful.
