| Quality:
| Made very well them boys at Schecter know what they are doing when it comes to guitars.they didn't skimp on anything has all the great stuff other guitars have that sell for much more.you wont be disappointed very high quality. |
| Sound:
| the tone of this guitar rocks.between having a mahogany and arched maple top body with awesome passive EMG HZ's. to me they sound as good as the active very crunchy great for rock, metal, jazz you name it.and very clean sounding without the gain very high quality literally no hum at all when your not playing any thing.and yeah i have the amp on.lots of sustain great for pinch harmonics i can squeeze all the sounds i love out of this beast. |
| Reliability:
| I just got it so i really cant say.but to me i think it will stand the test of time.every thing feels very solid and well built.it doesn't feel like a toy like other guitars i have played. |
| Overall:
| this product is great not a thing i can find wrong with it.great for rock and metal but cleans up nicely i wouldn't trade it for the world it is beautifully sinister.buy this baby but make sure you get it at AMS they go the extra mile to make you happy.thank you Tina for making my dreams come true. this may be a bit long but great things cant be explained in one sentence. |
| Playability and Feel:
| has a little weight to it but very comfortable.the neck is fast and smooth about as thick as a strat maybe a little thinner.fret board is narrow at the top and a little wider at the bottom to a comparable strat due to the Floyd Rose.the extra spacing leaves some room for your fingers to work the high frets.the licensed Floyd Rose is great you can really work that thing and stay in tune.the controls are very easy to access the knobs are very smooth and solid.the switch has no crackle while switching pickups nice and solid for if you bump it it don't switch on you.and it really has Grover tuners says it right on them.i cant find a thing to complain about and i am very picky. |
| Tone:
| the bridge pickup is very chunky and full sounding with great mid range and highs that are just right.i actually love playing on the bridge sounds so awesome.but if you want it to scream kick on the bridge great sound.i love playing rock and metal from the 70s to the present.and if you know how to work the guitar and have a decent amp and know how to work it your set to go.this guitar will more than likely get the sound you need.the sound is comparable to a real Gibson SG or Lespaul with a set of EMGs |
| Finish:
| the see through vampire red looks awesome with the quilted maple top.the color is very deep and rich in low lighting but comes to life when the light is hiting it almost 3D.very shiny smooth high gloss finish.the sides and back appear darker because of the mahogany but are also the see through red very nice seeing the wood grain on this beauty.very nice sure to please you and every one that sees it.i know i cant stop looking at it B E A UTIFUL. |
| Action:
| The action was perfect the only thing i had to do was lower the pickups a little for the higher frets would ring true.that is a very easy thing to do other than that i don't need to spend money having the local shop set it up. |

| Subject: | NO WAY!!! |
| Quality:
| You are getting way more than your moneys worth here, especially with the closeout price. Mine was going to be a backup for my Jackson. I think the Jackson is now the backup. |
| Sound:
| Straight from the box, the tone is excellent. I will be replacing the stings with GHS Boomer TNTs soon as this will only improve the sound. The EMGs are sure to please. |
| Reliability:
| As I just got mine, I can't say much other than that I can tell it will last as the construction is excellent. |
| Overall:
| There is NO way that you will beat this guitar! I received one for my b'day. I couldn't be happier. The finish, playability, and quality of this guy are as good as any costing 5x as much. |
| Playability and Feel:
| Due to the mahaogany body, it is heavy. However, it feels right. The neck is plenty fast and the controls are easy to get to. |
| Tone:
| Perfect for what I play (metal). |
| Finish:
| The finish is amazing. Though they don't carry the price tag of the other Schecters, they didn't skimp here. I am a huge fan of the one inlay in the neck. It is very clean, unlike so many that are too busy and cluttered. |
| Action:
| The action was fine from the factory. Final adjustments will be made after the new strings are on and it is D-tuned. |
