| Lightweight Kick A$$ Shreder |
| Quality |
| Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? |
| Oh yeah - dependable is still unknown as this is a brand new guitarforme, but have no reason to fear considering the qulaity right out of the box. |
|
| Reliability |
| How has it stood up over time? |
| Just bought it - but very well constructed so expect ths to be a quality piece. |
|
| General |
| Your general opinion of this product. |
| I especially like the feel of the neck on Shecter guitars - not flimsy, fast, just feels right |
|
| Playability and Feel |
| How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? |
| Very lightweight - feels real good - the neck is just the way I like - very similar to a Gibson in feel and action - controls are easily accessible, well placed |
|
| Tone |
| Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? |
| With the single coil option selected, youge screaming bright ones - very distinct and clear, pop the single coil option off and you get some real rich, solid deep tones perfect for moody metal pieces - if you want to just kick it out, and ake it growl, it can easily do that as well - it can cover the gambit of tones - Pickups are ver hot - very rich - a real bargain for theprice you pay - I'v played guitars costing twice - three times the price that wish they could sound ths good |
|
| Finish |
| How did the stain or paint job look? |
| That' one the real sweet parts of tis guitar - it's a beaut! Serious playability with good looks to boot - the quilted maple wit the cherry red transparent finish fits this guitar's name - it's a Hellraiser and looks good doing it. |
|
| Action |
| How was the action out of the box? |
| Fine fo me - but I like the action probably a little higher than most - but even with that - the ability to whip these strings all over the place -bends up and down, pull offs - effortless - a real fun ax! |
