The Schecter Model T Electric 4 string bass has a bolt-on Maple neck and an Alder body.
The neck is a comfortable 34 inch scale with 22 medium frets and dot inlays on a solid Rosewood fingerboard. The Model T also has heavy duty Grover chrome tuners and chrome hardware, Seymour Duncan Basslines P/J pickups (SPB-2 & SJB-2) with Volume/Volume/Tone controls and a sturdy Schecter Vintage bridge.

    The bass is very well constructed but the neck is too heavy for the body. You feel like you have to physically hold it up while playing. Not a comfortable feeling.

    Good, solid costruction and cool retro design. Very good action. I would construct the body of a heavier material, like ash or walnut.

    I would not have bought it if I realized how unbalanced it feels. Make sure you wear it standing with a strap before you buy.
