I have owned several Schecters and all of them were very well made and a very good value for the price point. I don't forsee any problem areas.

I really like the coil tap feature.
Tone
Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin?
The pickups are hot and have a nice growl to them. Almost sounds like a very subtle bit of overdrive.
Finish
How did the stain or paint job look?
The finish is superb.
