The Stiletto Elite 5 is an amazing neck-thru bass with a fantastic quilted maple top, mahogany body and gold hardware. More than just a pretty face, it's got the tone to back up that pro look. Schecter loads the Stiletto Elite 5 with EMG Hz pickups and active EQ. With active EQ, you have way more tone control and can more accurately create your tone. The 5-string Stiletto bass also features a 35 inch scale maple neck, a rosewood fingerboard, and jumbo frets.

Subject:This is the bass to own.
Quality: This thing is made like a tank. One of the most well-made basses I have played, been playing for over 20 years and this thing tops them all.
Features: The neck through is so nice, never owned one before and this is sweet!
Sound: The tone is smooth and warm or bright and in-your-face and everywhere in-between. One of the most versatile basses you will play.
Playability and Feel: Bass is a little heavy, what do you expect with a beautiful piece of wood that projects sound the way it does.
Tone: Pickups are thick and smooth or bright and ssnappy - whatever sound you are looking for, it's there, just dial it in.
Finish: One of the most beautiful Black Cherry finishes I have seen.
Action: Action was low and jsut the way I like it.
