Schecter Tempest Custom Electric Guitar

With an arch top, striking appearance and tone to back it up, the Tempest Custom is built for players who desire an instrument that's a little unconventional. This is a set-neck guitar with a bound mahogany/maple body and a tune-o-matic bridge. Its neck is maple with a 22-fret, bound rosewood fingerboard. The inlays are split-crowns and the frets are medium in size. Other features include Grover tuners and gold hardware on the black model and chrome hardware on the white.

Subject:BUY IT!
Quality: VERY high quality. Schecter has got it right on. Ive played several of their different models and they are all very quality instruments...even their lower end ones.
Sound: The tone is great. The Duncan Designed HB-102's are very versatile...the neck cleans up very nicely and the bridge gets nasty. For stock pups they are very nice. The coil tap adds even more versatility to them. Sustain for days with the heavy set neck!!!
Reliability: I've only had it a couple months but its well made and I expect it to hold up fine.
Overall: Well made, a bit on the heavy side (think les paul) for the price you will not find any better axe...or for hundreds more you wont even find a better axe...amazing!
Playability and Feel: Definately on the heavy side for a guitar. Neck has a very nice feel. Not to fat not too skinny. Neck is painted so it feels a bit slower than say a ibanez wizard neck or unfinished neck...but doest slow you down. Controls are located well and easy to access.
Tone: You can get any tone you want out of this. The neck is modeled after a SD Jazz and is quite clear and more of a lower output. The bridge is modeled after a SD JB and is very hot.
Finish: Flawless finish..the binding is aged so it has a yellowish white look to it. Gold hardware make this a very vintage looking axe.
Action: Action was spot on, intonation was perfect. This thing was set up nicely from the factory.

Subject:I love it
Quality: This is an extremely well-built instrument.
Reliability: I haven't had it long enough yet, but it's solid so I'm confident it will stand up well.
Overall: This guitar is great. Well-built, looks great, unbelievable tone. I love it!
Playability and Feel: I prefer a satin finish on the neck, so it's a bit slower than I'd like, but it's still easy to play. The jumbo frets work well for me but might not be to everyone's taste.
Tone: This is why I bought this guitar. It has unbelievably rich tone.
Finish: Beautiful finish. I bought the white model, and it looks fantastic.
Action: The action and intonation were absolutely perfect out of the box. (It was even in tune!)
