Seymour Duncan SH4 JB Model Humbucker Pickup

The Seymour Duncan JB Humbucker has a completely balanced coil configuration that produces great harmonics and a high output with just the right blend of sustain and distortion.
You get the best of both worlds: from sweet warm tones to raw rock 'n' roll. Combine this with the (SH-2) Jazz Neck and you've got Seymour's personal favorite combination. Recommended for Bridge position. Four conductor cable, with traditional spacing.

Subject:Awesome Pickup
Quality: Seymour Duncan = Quality
Reliability: Had it for two years, rewired my guitar twice in different configurations, it hasn't failed me yet.
Overall: Great sound for pushing a tube amp. I play a Les Paul through a Hot Rod Deluxe, and she starts to break up with the volume at 2.5-3, just a little. My strat starts to get dirty around 4. I play through a Hardwire CM2 which sounds unbelievably amazing for just about any over driven tones, and a Boss MT2 which is good for metalish stuff.
Playability and Feel: Very chunky, a little poppy even. Not like a single coil, but it has very good definition.
Tone: Harmonics are fantastic, I can pinch harmonics really easy with the MT2, and it has lots of chunk for the metal thing. With the CM2 it gives me any tone from classic metal to dirty blues with ease. This pickup sounds best with some drive, natural or otherwise. Clean its very modern sounding, lots of mids and highs and very punchy. This is a rather aggressive sound that will bring you through the mix no matter what you play. Guaranteed.
Finish: Mines the Zebra finish, matches my binding and flame top pretty good.
Action: Action Packed
Skill Level: Intermediate
