The Shure SM10A Headset Microphone is a favorite of singing drummers and keyboardists who need freedom of movement on stage. The SM10A is a low-impedance, unidirectional dynamic mic designed for singing drummers, keyboard artists, and other performers who need a head-worn vocal microphone with superior noise rejection and a smooth, natural-sounding frequency response.

The SM10A is very lightweight and is mounted on the included steel headband assembly. An adjustable pivot on the headband assembly lets you move the mic boom to be moved 20 degrees in any direction. The boom also slides out so the mic can be positioned up to 3-1/2 inches from the pivot housing. A supplied windscreen reduces wind noise and explosive breath sounds. A belt clip that fits over the XLR connector and attaches to your belt or waistband provides cable strain relief.

Ease of Use
How easy is this product to use? How easy is the product to use with other products? Did it take long for you to learn to use this product? Was the manual helpful? How playable do you consider this product to be?
this is as easy as pluggin a standard mic in,but i did have to add a tube mic preamp which just made it sound wonderful.it would be nice to have some more gain right out of the box,but very full sounding
Sound
How is the tone?
started off pretty thin and lacked gain but i coupled it up with a art tube preamp around $30 voila it really came alive no problem with feedback.i'am strolling with this with a cable, not the optinum setup but what i could afford, hope to go wireless in future.some noise from preamp but their is directions to cure that from art.have done 2 shows so far and it really helps the performance, great buy!!!
