SKB's ATA-style universal mixing board case family presents an amazing feature, which transforms the interior into a snug cradle for virtually any non-rackable mixer. The patent-pending Corner Cleats securely fasten to the Velcro(r) bed of the case to hold your board firmly in place, accommodating 99% of all non-racking mixing boards in one of these cases. Durable butterfly latches, exterior corner bumpers and a fully removable top are featured.

There's a lot of great features about this case, so it's really hard just picking one. I particularly like having the butterfly latches on both sides (instead of a hinge on one side). The included foam is also a fabulous touch!
Sound
How is the tone?
This is going to sound like a joke, but it's actually true: You can always tell a good case by thumping on it's outer shell. Cheap ones sound hollow because there is little or no insulation inside. The SKB cases have a much deeper thump since they are filled with dense foam to provide better protection for what's inside.
Reliability
How has it stood up over time?
I've only used it for one gig, but do NOT expect any problems for a long time to come.
