SKB 5009BL Bose L1 Model I and II Speaker Case

The SKB 5009BL is the perfect transport case for either the Bose L1 Model I Speaker or Bose L1 Model II Speaker. The case is made of high density polyethylene (HDPE) that exceeds the ATA category 300 flight specification. The latches are made of unbreakable fiberglass reinforced nylon and incorporates the world's only TSA accepted and recognized locking latch system.

The foam has removable blocks in order to provide the perfect fit for either the original L1 speakers or the new L1 Model II version.

Quality: excellent quality product...made for the discerning traveling musician
Features: Perfect for the touring musician who needs protection for his Bose investment (and we all know that Bose is an investment!); seems like there is ample room in the case to include separate pockets for cables, accesories or maybe even a cutout for the T1 is you have one.

Quality: SKB's quality shines on this case. I am confident of the protection it offers.
Features: From the rollers to the handle, the cut-foam bed to the heavy duty latches, this case solidly protects the two column speakers from my Bose L1.
Ease of Use: Can't be any simpler to use - after breaking down your column speakers for transport, just place them in the appropriate cut-outs within the case. Close it and roll it. Easy!

Value: After spending over $2K on the system, I certainly didn't mind spending less that 10% of the cost on a protective case.

Quality: SKB is always well made IMHO.
Features: I use a Bose L1 with my keyboard rig and now my speakers are protected like my keyboards - in SKB cases.
Ease of Use: Yes
Sound: Doesn't apply
Value: The cases are a bit pricey although I bought mine for $169.99. They were $30 less than anyone and that was the thing that enticed me to buy right away. My keyboard cases are actually gun cases. They seem to charge more for keyboard cases than gun cases - go figure...
