The SKB AV8 is an 8 space retractable shelf designed for the SKB R104 Audio DJ Rack. Not only is the AV8 a great accessory/add-on for the R104, but also can be mounted to any retractable shelf that can be mounted to any 8 space slant top mixer. Additional features are a sturdy hook and loop surface for AV gear and a convenient workspace at a convenient height. The AV8 is the perfect solution for a laptop or projector.

Note: Computer, equipment and case are not included.

The mounting surface is 17 x 11 inches. The SKB AV8 was designed to work with any slant rack that is 8U or longer and has a slant in the 6-8 degree range, however, there is no guarantee that the lid for your case will fit over the SKB AV8 (except when used with the 1SKB-R104).

Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable?
Need longer screws to mount it on my rig, as the switch box I have mounted is thicker than standard. Carpet is already coming off of it when I installed it, I expect I will have to reglue that.
