Each channel of the TB202 is built around a hand-tested premium quality 12AX7 tube and a pristine Class A transformerless high voltage signal path for true tube saturation. Next in line is a soft-knee design optical compressor with adjustable threshold and fast/slow attack and release switches for super smooth and natural sounding compression, and a silky 3-band EQ (80Hz /1.8kHz / 8kHz centers). Each channel also features switchable 48-volt phantom power, phase reverse, and -20dB pad, dual XLR I/O, dual 1/4" inputs with level control for direct box function, LED metering, and adjustable output level controls. QUALITY:
I've had it for 2+ yrs, and it has worked well for how we use it- occcasional home recording. We run most everything-drums, gtr, & vocals thru it.
FEATURES:
The EQ section is nice, it allows for a lot of control over the sound. I would have preferred the XLR ins on the front panel.
EASE OF USE:
Very simple to use. The layout is intuitive to me.
VALUE:
For how cheap it is, it is probably the best value we have in our setup. Now for better mics...
SOUND:
The sound is very good, again, considering the price. We have used better pre's in studios, and there is a definite difference there, but for demo's, or just toying with ideas, it's great.

I was worried about customer support, being that this company is in Australia. If you go to manufacturers info, you're get a email address which is a service center here in the US. Good to know, hope I never have to use it.
Been using this unit for a couple weeks and it works fine. Has a nice warmth but unaffecting quality to it. The contols all work fine and the bass, mid, high eqs are nice to have.
