So far this is an amazing product!
    Product Rating
What is your opinion of this product?
I haven't given 5 stars just because I haven't used it extensively yet. So far I have played with routing signals, effects, auxes, Digitech effects on the hiZ channels. I am using a Microsoft Surface Pro 2, using google chrome to control via web interface. I have been able to set up several view groups, use all the mute groups, sub groups, etc, all quite easy to set up, but not without reading the manual extensively. This is not an issue, per say, its just something that you will have to do. Analog mixers are laid out right there in front of you, where this thing has many "layers". If you're used to the digital mixing platform, then you should be right at home. I have gotten this mixer to introduce myself to digital mixing, and so far it's amazing. LOTS of flexibility to this format. As for the people that complained about its connectivity issues, that must have been early firmware related. It's working like a champion.

    Very convenient
What is your opinion of this product?
It's really good for small gigs and speaking engagements. I probably wouldn't use it in a serious show but I do love it. The antenna is very cheap. It broke as soon as I took the unit out of the box. I assume it can be replaced fairly easily. Make sure you upgrade the software. Until I upgraded the software, I couldn't work the mixer from more than 2 feet away with my iPad. Once I upgraded the software, I could go more than 100 feet away. I still haven't found the distance limitations yet. Again, I love it (overall).

Great little entry level digital mixer
What is your opinion of this product?
This mixer is great. I've read all the complaints online, so I put it to the test. So far, the wifi works great. I put a usb Ethernet adapter in the gig bag in case of wifi drop outs, but I haven't needed it so far. The manual isn't very clear about some features and even the YouTube tutorials don't cover everything, so expect to do some trial and error on some features. One example is using the headphone outs as aux 5 and 6. Since the jacks are stereo, a mono cable must be inserted all the way for aux 5 and one notch out for aux 6.....or you could use special stereo to mono cables or adapters. The sound is crystal clear. The interface is very simple and intuitive. My drummer was mixing his monitors right away with no help or previous experience with any kind of mixer. Just make sure to use the access limiters on devices intended only for mixing auxes, otherwise the main mix could be changed accidentally if you aren't paying close attention.

    Good for the price
What is your opinion of this product?
I had this unit for about a month before I decided to go with the Presonus. First let me say I was impressed with how easy it was to get started. But I disappointed with the WiFi. It would drop out more than once during a gig. Luckily it came back rather fast. The sound quality was great. I could never get the Tap Delay FX to ever work correctly. No info to correct this could be found. I really liked the fact of recording to a flash drive. Simple and easy. FYI: IT DOES NOT WORK WELL WITH INTERNET EXPLORER IN WINDOWS 10! I used Google Chrome. I would have preferred more inputs answer Aux sends but that would have raised the price. Overall simple to navigate. I just out grew it!

    Good, but Not Reliable
What is your opinion of this product?
An otherwise great product that is let down completely by unreliable network connectivity. On this type of mixer, the wifi connection should be the PRIMARY FUNCTION, not some sketchy, unreliable afterthought. I could never do A live gig with a mixer that is not 100% bullet-proof reliable, and the Ui16 doesn't even come close. It's a real shame because it could be very good if the network would stay connected. Unfortunately, I had to send mine back. I'm going to stick with my analog mixer for now and let someone else be the beta tester.

    Amazing Sound and Convenience
What is your opinion of this product?
I think the initial shipment of this product must have had some issues as I received a UI16 in early May 2015 that had wi-fi connection problems that I returned. I had to wait until mid June to get a replacement, but everything works wonderfully on this unit. The audio is pristine, amazing many who have heard this for the first time, with its excellent transparency. They even remarked that it sounded like we were in a studio. Connectivity is a breeze and I have a Win 7 laptop, Kindle Fire HD and several Android devices that sync right up and allow me to modify any parameter on the fly.I have created snapshots, saved them, powered down/up and recalled them without any issues. Effects, EQ, compression, amp models (on inputs 1 & 2), aux feeds, USB playback and so many more parameters are right at my fingertips to tweak at any time. Adding this to my rack saves me from having to haul a separate mixer, outboard gear, a guitar rig (should I desire to not use one), and CD player.

    Small Band, Small Footprint
What is your opinion of this product?
SoundCraft Ui16 mixer. I've waited three months to replace a much loved PreSonus 16.4.2 mixer. I wanted a rack mount, more portable mixer and the Ui16 really fit the bill with the Harmony extras! the main reason I down sized to this; the "Dbx AFS2" on the Aux outputs! But, to my disappointment, I cannot get the 4 Aux Output Balance connectors to output anything! "Aux 5 and 6" work through the quarter inch Headphone Jacks, so there's a work around. I hope this is just a "firmware" thing (or is it just me?) HELLO SoundCraft Engineers? Other than that; a great mixer for the price, to minimize your footprint at a small Venue! Just one more thing; if the PreSonus StudioLive RM16 had just one more processor (Feedback suppression) I wouldn't have to drag around the Dbx AFS2 Driverack, I would have gone with the PreSonus.

Amazingly simple, yet powerful digital mixer
What is your opinion of this product?
Ran mine through the paces the evening I received it. Powered it up, updated the firmware, connected and built a mix in about 20 minutes.., recalled the mix, made a ton of changes, saved it, powered off, cycled the power and recalled the mix...worked great! Used a PC, phone and a tablet to control it... Sonic quality is pure and quiet, chassis is solid... wifi was rock solid... Exceptional value.
