Quality
Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable?
Very sturdy construction outside. Only time will tell if it will hold up to abuse.
|
Reliability
How has it stood up over time?
Have only had it for a month, so far so good.

Overall
Your general opinion of this product.
I have played this pedal with my Marshall Class 5, and so far I like it with this amp. It adds a nice thickness to the tone for leads. You can back off the volume controls on the guitar for rhythm tone as well. I am amazed at how responsive this pedal is to your guitar's controls as well as your pick attack. Versatility in tone with this pedal is going to come from amp settings, guitar controls and your hands as there is only a volume control on the pedal itself. Definately not a massive distortion/fuzz type tone like it's big brother.
|
Playability and Feel
How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing?
The volume control is a bit touchy. If you have it set too low, when you click the pedal on you will have a volume drop depending on how loud your amp is.
|
Tone
Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin?
Just adds a light bit of fuzz to your tone. Through my Marshall class 5 I am running the amp hard getting my overdrive from the amp, and then use the Muff overdrive to add some girth to the tone for single note lines and lead work. A tone control in addition to the volume control would have been nice as you may have to EQ your amp in a way that you normally wouldn't.
|
Finish
How did the stain or paint job look?
Um...it's just a sticker on a plain galvanized metal box. Nothing fancy here.
|
Action
How was the action out of the box?
Audible "click" when you switch the pedal on.
