When my first ge... Discussion: Having had one of the first generation cd players I had a thing for "top loaders". When my first gen player bit the dust I did not know where I would find another one. Then I saw this one for a hundred bucks. The sound quality of this one is excellent and so far it's mechanical performance is excellent also. For the price I dont think you can beat this top loader and it really does have $600 sound.
