The Amplite power amplifier was designed as the partner to our Headlite professional bass amplifier head, but is also ideal for pro audio or monitoring applications.

The Amplite power amplifier is a result of our ongoing efforts to improve the lives of bassists everywhere, and is part of a completely new generation of innovative, lightweight bass amplification products.
Thanks to the laws of physics, bass instruments in general require substantially more power for accurate amplification than their high frequency counterparts and, until recently, have required extremely heavy transformers and bulky power supplies to produce this needed
power. The Amplite was made possible by recent advances in technology that have finally made powerful, lightweight amplifiers and speaker enclosures a reality.
Further, the Amplite is the direct result of exhaustive research and development efforts and countless hours of real-world playing applications that, together, ensured that the SWR

The Amplite can be rack-mounted on a tray - two Amplites will provide 800 watts of power in a single rack-space and weigh six pounds (2.72 kg)! - or transported in an optional gig bag for convenient transport.
