SWR 750X Bass Guitar Amplifier Head

SWR 750X Bass Guitar Amplifier Head

The SWR 750x delivers crushing volume, killer effects, and pure SWR tone. The 750X produces a clean 425 watts at 8 ohms, 750 watts at 4 ohms, and 850 RMS at 2.6 ohms. The 750X also inherits the SubWave effect, plus Overdrive, which pushes the 750X's 12AX7 tube preamp circuitry, creating tones as subtle as a classic "Flip-Top," or as nasty as a half-stack running at 11. Both effects are footswitchable on the 750X, with the included dual switch. The 750x also now includes a pre-master preamp output. The 750X's limiter is adjustable and it also provides Turbo and Transparency pull-switches. Both amps feature a side-chain effects loop, effects blend control, XLR balanced record out, and a tuner send. 750X dimensions: 19 x 5-1/2 x 15" (3 rack spaces), 31 lbs.

Subject:It doesn't get better than this!!
Overall: This is the best amp I've ever heard. It's easy to get the exact EQ and volume that you need. Also the subwave and overdrive channels add variety in the tones and sound KILLER! I'm running it through the SWR Goliath III (also an awsome product), but it's got more than enough power to add anything you want. I'll be adding the Son of Big Bertha in a few months to give my overall rack more low end. This amp is a must buy!!

Overall: I usually don’t rave about equipment but this amp is by far, the best unit pound for pound the best I have ever seen or used. The controls are easy to use, sound is awesome and the clarity is mind-boggling. Honestly, I had the amp on with the bass plugged in and I could not tell the unit was on until I hit the strings. It is just that quiet. Go to your local music store to play one then come back to AMS and purchase your unit. I can’t say enough about this unit. Plus it’s a great looking piece of gear. Hurry and get yours!!!!

Overall: This is, by far, the most complete bass amp I have every used. I have used everything from the high end David Eden amps to the Peavey. Pound for pound this amp is the “Steven Segal” of bass amps. This a very quiet ass kicker…Rock on SWR!!!!

QUALITY:
Built like a rock

FEATURES:
Everything you can ask for in a bass amp

EASE OF USE:
Plug and play

VALUE:
As good as an Ampeg SVT but for a little less chedder

SOUND:
This thing can go as deep as you want. You can shake the walls with this mofo! One word of caution: use the Suboctave sparingly. I set it at max and cranked the volume up, and my dog literally vomited on the carpet. After cleaning it up and banning him from my rehearsal room, I don't use the suboctave unless on stage.
