It has electronics what more could you want in a guitar for this price and thoes looks. I love the built in tuner and it doesn't take albert einstine to figure it out.

EASE OF USE:
since the guitar doesn't have eny freets I'd have to give it a for but it is easy to adapt. The neck is rather big but it is supposed to be like that.

VALUE:
the price i paid for what i got was great. The price is much cheaper than other places. Now that i have it i'd pay a lot more !

SOUND:
Sounds like Eric Clapton's tears in Heaven Guitar and looks better. The sounds very warm. I use a tube compressor to make the tone better { but not neaded].

Subject:For $399.99 this guitar is a steal!
Quality: As with any Takamine guitar I've seen/owned this guitar is well made with good woods and excellent craftmanship. Inside the bracing and purflings are well put and looks tight with no excess glue visible.
Reliability: The Takamine EG128SC Classical guitar should last a lifetime if it is well maintained. No guitar will last long if it is not taken care of, no matter how much it costs. However, Takamine guitars can still get a fair amount of abuse.
Overall: The Takamine EG128SC Classical is an excellent buy for the money. I've seen other guitars costing more that can't beat this one.
Playability and Feel: Holding this guitar is a pleasure, feels solid and comfortable. It doesn't weight much but it isn't flimsy.
Tone: The tone is very good for a cutaway but plugged sounds much better and you can tweak the sound with its preamp EQ but not necessary if you plug it to a good acoustic amplifier. However, to improve its unplugged sound I decided to replace the nut and saddle for ones made out of bone. Wow! it made a huge difference. The tone is more balanced and with more sustain and volume.
Finish: The finish is excellent (at least mine) without any overrun.
Action: The action wasn't the way I like it, a bit too high so I set it up to my taste after replacing the nut and saddle.
Skill Level: Semi-Pro
"It doesn't get any better than this! I placed an order on the weekend with 1/3 down payment and received the equipment two days later. Fantastic!"
