| Subject: | Love this guitar |
| Quality:
| Excellent quality, very dependable. Still going strong after over a year of heavy use. |
| Sound:
| Unplugged, this guitar sounds fantastic. It has a nice low end thump and crisp, ringing highs. Plugged in, you might have to play around with the eq a bit to get the sound you want, but it is definitely doable. |
| Reliability:
| After a year of steady, almost daily use along with weekly traveling back and forth to shows, this guitar has not had a problem. Electronics are still working like new, still stays in tune. The finish, except for a couple of bumps and small scratches caused by my carelessness, still shines. |
| Overall:
| I've had this guitar for over a year now. I use it weekly playing solo gigs. No problems, great tone, it is perfect for what I do. |
| Playability and Feel:
| Guitar feels great, if a little bit heavy. Very playable. |
| Tone:
| Tone is very balanced. Lows are clear, highs ring nicely. Pickups, in my opinion, tend to muddy up the lows. A little eq fixes it, though. |
| Finish:
| Nice finish that has held up over time. |
| Action:
| Action is a little bit high out of the box, but never was an issue for me. |

| Quality:
| I own a Santa Fe Special Edition Takamine that I have been playing for the last 15+ years. This new Takamine excels in both playability and looks. A beautiful guitar with fullness in tone and great action. I look forward to playing this guitar in the years ahead. |
| Reliability:
| This is a new purchase for me.... time will tell. |
| Overall:
| I've owned it for just about a week and I'm completely satisfied with my new guitar. |
| Playability and Feel:
| Feels great in my hands... has stayed in tune nicely. |
| Tone:
| A great full tone, exceeding much more expensive jumbo acoustics I have played in the past. |
| Finish:
| This is a beautiful instrument. |
| Action:
| I have played it daily since getting it and it was great out of the box and is getting better. |

| Subject: | From pickin' and grinnin' on the porch to a pro venue...This is your guitar... |
| Quality:
| This is definitely a well made guitar...The inlays and rosette are immaculate, the frets are well dressed, the finish is great... |
| Reliability:
| I've only had it for 8 months, but it amazes me how well it holds a tune...Even when I'm banging on it, she stay's in tune... |
| Overall:
| I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking for an acoustic/electric...No, you can't play mine, get your own...Love it !...The people at Takamine are great too...I had some questions, and my emails were answered in 2 days or less... |
| Playability and Feel:
| As it is a Jumbo, this guitar may be a little big for small frame people, but for me, it's great...I like to dance and move around to all parts of the stage, and surprisingly I didn't smack anybody with it... |
| Tone:
| The tone of this Jumbo works for every genre...It's smooth and fat...I've played everything from George Strait to Clapton to Gospel Hymns...Works for everything.. |
| Finish:
| Finish is perfect, absolutely flawless...A beauty to behold...Several reviewers have complained the pre-amp is hard to understand, but if you look at Takamine's homepage, it is explained in good detail... |
| Action:
| The action on mine was a little high out of the box, but there were 4 or 5 shims underneath the pick up in the bridge...Take those out, half a turn on the truss rod, and your in business...I don't think that's out of line for a mass produced guitar... |
